Duncan’s Red Languedoc Lovers are a very special selection of six hard-to-find red wines from the South of France.
Why special? This selection represents all Duncan loves about Languedoc reds: ripe, generous and full of Mediterranean sunshine.Why hard to find? After extensive research, Duncan has chosen to import these reds from a wine-making chum who exports very little to the UK.
The case contains 1 each of the following, unless otherwise stated:
Belle Epine Syrah Merlot – Rounded, medium-bodied blend with delicious notes of blackberry, plum and blueberry fruit.
2 x Faugeres Croix St Alban – Easy-going, medium-bodied belter with aromas of ripe blackberry, plum and blackcurrant and a fresh fruity palate with juicy tannins.
Chateau Fontanche Saint-Chinian – A nose of red fruit, spice and hints of liquorice, leads to a full-fruited palate of red and dark fruits, spice, nice soft tannins and a lovely finish.
L’Impudent du Larzac – Languedoc at its best. Dark fruited with spice, herbal and almond notes. It’d be impudent not to give it a try!
Montpeyroux Estagnol – From stony vineyards with lots of limestone and clay, this is both punchy and fresh with tons of rich dark fruit.
