While we’re not entirely convinced about Sweden’s win at the Eurovision Song Contest last Saturday evening (we were rooting for Finland), there was absolutely no doubt about the winner of Duncan Murray Wines Eurovision taste-off. Despite stiff competition from Australia’s Jammy Monkey Shiraz, Portugal’s Vilatechino Grande Escolha got the lion share of our discerning tasters’ ‘douze points’. The spritz and freshness of this Vinho Verde struck a chord and people clearly wanted ‘ooh aah just a little bit more!’
